Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the Operations Superintendent will be required to work largely under his/her own initiative and must be capable of anticipating, planning, managing and successfully resolving issues. The operational nature of the business means that work priorities can quickly change and there are often tight deadlines to work to. Therefore, it is essential that the post holder can work effectively under pressure, can deal with fluctuating work demands and is flexible in his/her work attitude.
Experience & Qualifications
• Unlimited Certificate of Competency as a senior Engineering Officer and/or relevant experience in seagoing vessels in a supervisory role.
• Good planning and scheduling skills
• Excellent IT and communication skills
